NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Here's a quick look at the week ahead in Northborough:
Tuesday, Oct. 9
Drop-In Knitting, 9:30 a.m. — Visit Craftworks Artisan Cooperative to work on knitting projects with friends.
Varsity Cross Country, 3:30 p.m. — The Algonquin's boys' and girls' teams will face Wachusett at Wachusett Regional High School.
Varsity Field Hockey, 4 p.m. — The Tomahawks will host Quabbin Regional.
Varsity Soccer, 4 p.m. — Algonquin will face Wachusett. The boys will play at home while the girls will play at Wachusett Regional High School.
Girls' Varsity Volleyball, 4:45 p.m. — The Tomahawks will play Marlborough at Marlborough High School.
Council On Aging, 7 p.m. — The Council on Aging will have its regular meeting at the Northborough Senior Center.
Library Board of Trustees, 7:30 p.m. — The Library Board of Trustees will have its regular meeting at the Northborough Library.
Wednesday, Oct. 10
Varsity Golf, 3:30 p.m. — Algonquin will play Shrewsbury at Mt. Pleasant Country Club.
Varsity Field Hockey, 4 p.m. — The Tomahawks will face Wachusett at home.
Girls' Varsity Volleyball, 4:45 p.m. — Algonquin will play Groton-Dunstable at Groton-Dunstable Regional High School.
Historical Commission, 7 p.m. — The Historical Commission will have a public hearing at Northborough Town Hall regarding the demolition permit for 39 West Main St.
Thursday, Oct. 11
Yoga For The Young, 10 a.m. — The Northborough Library Children's Room will host a yoga class for children ages 3–5. Registration is required.
Student Voter Registration, 10:55 a.m. — Northborough Town Clerk will conduct a voter registration session at Algonquin Regional High School during lunch periods. All Algonquin students who will be 18 on or before Nov. 6 may register to vote.
Varsity Golf, 3:30 p.m. — Algonquin will pay Leominster at Juniper Hills Country Club
Varsity Soccer, 5 p.m. (boys); 7 p.m. (girls) — Algonquin will play Shrewsbury at Shrewsbury High School.
