NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Here's a look at some of the events planned for Northborough and the surrounding area this weekend:
Friday, July 20
- At 7 p.m., the Arts Alliance Children’s Theater Troupe will perform the second and last showing of the musical "Charlotte's Web" at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St., Hudson. Several Northborough students will act in the play, based on the book by E. B. White. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $7 for children 10-and-under.
- Students in grades six to nine are invited to the Northborough Library for the "Library Lock-In For Teens." This after-hours party will last from 7 to 11 p.m.
Saturday, July 21
- Any children who wish to improve their out-loud reading is invited to "Reading to the Dogs" at the Northborough Library, where they can read to a therapy dog. Registration is required. The event takes place from 12 to 2 p.m.
- The Waters Farm in Sutton will be holding its 10th Annual Donkey and Mule Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Miniature, standard and rare mammoth donkeys will be there. Admission is $5 per carload. Food and drink will be available.
