NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Northborough was treated to exceptional weather for its Applefest celebration this weekend, and families from all over town came out to enjoy the festivities.

Even though popular attractions such as the fireworks show and barbecue were canceled because of fears of mosquito-borne illnesses, plenty of activities remained, including "train" rides at the street fair and the annual car show.
