NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Despite having to delay it's annual Fall Festival by a month due to the threat of mosquito-borne illnesses, the St. Bernadette Catholic School saw no shortage of guests the weekend of Oct.26-27.
"It's just a great opportunity for people to get together," said the Rev. Steve Gemmb, the pastor of St. Bernadette.
"I think it's also great for people because some people have a lot of anxiety about church and religion," Gemmb added. "It's kind of nice for people to enter or re-enter the community."
The festival itself spanned several tents and buildings and included everything from craft sales to party games. Children got to enjoy an endless supply of candy and a dance floor to work off their equaly endless energy. Adults, meanwhile, enjoyed the beer and wine offered at the back of the main tent.
