NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The town of Northborough recently released another update on its downtown traffic improvement efforts.
The town expects the sub-base work on the Route 20 eastbound widening to be finished by the end of this week. In addition, traffic signal work will be ongoing for the next few weeks.
Beginning this week, workers will be installing the signal conduits under future sidewalk areas. This process is expected to continue during the next several weeks, according to the town.
Meanwhile, the milling and resurfacing work being done on the westerly end of Route 20 near the intersection with Route 9 is still progressing, according to the town. Guard rail work is under way, and the intermediate course of asphalt is expected to be competed this week.
