NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Otis Street has become a one-way road heading toward Route 9 because of the ongoing work on the Otis Street sewer main project.

The restriction applies to the stretch of road between the Thayer Street/Tomblin Hill Road intersection and the intersection of Otis and Lawrence Street. Drivers heading north along Otis from Route 9 will not be able to continue past Lawrence.

The street became a one-way street July 18 as part of phase one of the sewer project and will continue to operate that way until further notice, according to an update from the town. All businesses along Otis Street are expected to remain open.

For more information about the sewer project, see the work summary here.
