SHREWSBURY, Mass. — Shrewsbury native Ken Yankee has been nominated for an Emmy Award for his editing work on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
Yankee shares his nomination with six other members of the team that edited the show's "Rise And Honor A Veterans Day Special."
He is a 2004 graduate of Fitchburg State University.
Other shows nominated for Outstanding Picture Editing for Short-Form Segments and Variety Specials include special episodes of "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," and the 2012 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.
According to IMDB, Yankee was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing for "The Tyra Banks Show" in 2008 and 2007.
He also won an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award in 2011 for Best Edited Reality Series for "If You Really Knew Me."
The 64th Primetime Emmys air Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
