NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The jury trial for Northborough farm owner Santo Anza Jr., which was originally scheduled for Oct. 15, has been rescheduled, according to the Attorney General's Office.

While a spokesperson for the attorney general could not confirm the exact date of the trial. Anza will next appear in court on Nov. 9 for a status hearing.

Anza, owner of the S.A. Farm on Whitney Street, was indicted in December on three counts of violating the Massachusetts Clean Air Act, three counts of animal cruelty and 10 counts of violating the Massachusetts Solid Waste Act. Investigators accuse him of operating an illegal dump site on his property while failing to care for his livestock.
