NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Alice Yvonne (Trombly) Vancour, of Framingham for the past 50 years, died, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Beaumont Rehabilitation Center, Northborough. She was the wife of 65 years to the late Dr. Roger P. Vancour who died April 11, 2012.
Mrs. Vancour is survived by her two sons, Ron of Boston and Roger of Northborough; her two grandchildren, Kristin Vancour of Philadelphia, PA and Roger Jake Vancour of Northborough. She is also survived by a close family member Matt LaBarre of Worcester, 4 nieces and nephews and their families. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Labarge who died in November 2011.
Born and raised in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Trombly and Yvonne (Charlebois) Trombly LaRochelle.
She was a graduate of Worcester's Commerce High School, class of 1942.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anselm's Church, 100 Landham Rd. Sudbury. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham. Visiting hours on Friday will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
