BERLIN, Mass. - David C. Hill, 73, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 6, 2012. He is predeceased by his son Dana J. Hill.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karen (Johnson) Hill; his three daughters and their families, Brenda and her husband Phil Brown and their children, Heather, Evan and Cameron of Ashburnham; Denise and her husband Jeff Selepack, and her children Jeremiah, Shane and Elijah Johnson of Boylston; Tracy Hill and her fiancé Bob Sears of Berlin. He will be fondly remembered by many close relatives, friends, and business associates.
Raised in Marlborough, son of the late Fred and Ruth Hill. Dave graduated from Marlborough High School in 1957 and went on to study at East Coast Aero Tech. He was a salesman for 53 years working at the former MEK of Northborough, Industronics of Millis, Marty Flynn Associates of Chelmsford and most recently for EPAC of Manchester, NH.
Dave was very active in the First Parish Church of Berlin. He was a hockey coach for numerous local teams, including the Nighthawks girls’ hockey team of Marlborough. He was an Eagle Scout and Master Councilor of DeMolay of Marlborough.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10 a.m. in North Cemetery, Highland St., Berlin.
