To the editor,
I have known state Rep. Steven Levy for many years. I can attest to his strong moral character and his tireless and genuine concern for the public. Steven is hard working, honest and smart. During his two year tenure as a state representative, Steven Levy co-sponsored the following pro-life bills: Laura’s Law, Sex-Selected Abortion Prevention Act, the Massachusetts Partial Birth Abortion Ban and the Tax Payer Conscience Protection Act. In addition he has proposed or supported many bills to rein in the state’s questionable spending habits, strengthen voting rights and several bills to protect children including increased protection against sexual predators.
Steven Levy supports the roll back of the state sales tax to 5 percent. He does not support the use of tax dollars for in-state tuition rates for illegal aliens and would vote to repeal the law allowing three casinos. Steven has an education in accounting and finance and years of business experience that gives credence to his goal of bringing the state back into fiscal balance. The state has raised over a billion dollars more in revenue during the recession but still wants more. Steven will fight to keep government spending and waste under control.
I trust Seven Levy to represent my interests and strongly recommend that you vote for him as your state representative in the 4th Middlesex District.
