NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Northborough residents who wish to vote in the Sept. 6 state primary election must register by Aug. 17 if they have not already done so.
To check your registration status, call the town clerk's office at 508-393-5001 or email townclerk@town.northborough.ma.us.
To register, visit the town clerk's office at the Northborough Town Hall, 63 Main St. You can also download a registration form here and mail it in, as long as it is postmarked by Aug. 17.
Although many local candidates are running unopposed in the primary, Northborough voters have a few contested races to resolve. In the Fourth Middlesex House District — which now encompasses voting precincts 1 and 3 in Northborough because of redistricting — Democrats Joseph Paul Richard Collins Sr. and Danielle Gregoire are vying to run against Republican state Rep. Steven Levy. To see which precinct you live in, visit www.wheredoivotema.com.
U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern, a Democrat who will be running in the newly redrawn Second Congressional District, faces a primary challenge from William Feegbeh.
Residents have until Oct. 17 to register for the presidential election Nov. 6.
