WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Several candidates for seats in the Massachusetts Legislature stopped in Westborough for a few hours Sunday to meet with local residents, according to a statement.
Candidates included Dean Cavaretta, Marty Lamb, Steven Levy and Matt Beaton. Cavaretta is running for state Senate in the Middlesex and Worcester District. Lamb is running for representative in the 8th Middlesex District. State Reps. Levy and Beaton are both running for re-election and represent all but Precinct 2 in Westborough.
The event, paid for by the Westborough Republican Town Committee, was an opportunity for supporters to pick up signs, stickers, make donations and plan ways to raise support for Republican candidates.
