Northborough Man Honored At Bowdoin College

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Daniel Palken of Northborough was honored for academic excellence during Bowdoin College's annual Sarah and James Bowdoin Day ceremony, held Sept. 28.

Palken, a member of the Class of 2014, is majoring in English and physics and minoring in mathematics.

Students designated Sarah and James Bowdoin Scholars are in the top (highest GPA) 20 percent of each class for the previous academic year. In addition, those who earned a GPA of 4.0 are designated Sarah and James Bowdoin Book Award winners.
