It is a shame the weather has not cooperated with these events. It appears that the dates need to be chosen about a week or less in advance, when the weather can be predicted. There were some weekends where the ice would have been fine for the skating event this year and there may yet be more good dates this year. I do not know when last weekends date was chosen, but by the time it was announced on this site there were already predictions of a possible large snow storm. View Comment

Not sure about Grafton, but I was surprised I didn't see any plows on the highways on Sunday. There are a lot of entrance ramps and exit ramps that need widening. View Comment
