Not a bad job... But I live on Barbara jean st and there is about 4 ft of missing road after today it will be very hard to be cleaned. At least we cleaned out near our mailboxes but the street is a very small two way. Grist mill is a tight fit too. Pleasant street looks good just be careful at some parts. Other than that great job Grafton plowers I'm sure it was a long few days! View Comment

By the time this is done my child will be too old for it, and he is only 3. What a shame. You should of had a game plan when you tore it down. At this rate a million dollar high school would of been built in faster time than a park for the youngsters. There goes good old grafton doing before having a plan. It's sad I have to go to another town to play. Why not have a fundraiser booth at the Octoberfest coming up or maybe having a collection day at the lights at swirls and scoops. Disappointed! Has this law passed? Where can you not smoke? I know the common but has there been a list that has the places? I already can't smoke in restaurants, that's fine those are indoors but outside... I want to know if the golf course is one since I live and play there, and I smoke. I am a considerate smoker, I do not throw my butts on the ground in public. I also read that our own board didn't know about it being passed also... This is all confusing and no answers unless I'm missing something here... Someone tell me something... View Comment

did i hear that the golf course is included in places you cant smoke? how can that be it is a wide open area the only people closest to you are the people you are playing with... does this mean those who live on the golf course cant smoke in thier backyards? I can understand the 15 feet from a public enterance, but outside in a wide open area really??? if you cant smoke on the golf course then you shouldnt be able to smoke in your car and blow the smoke outside... this is getting rediculous in this town... if you cant smoke in Grafton then will our stores stop selling cigarettes? How will this be enforced on the golf course? will the board of health be walking the golf course, if so be careful there is flying golf balls... Please someone clearify this for the golf course, i wont be booking my tee times there if this is the case and i cant smoke a cigar or cigarette on the golf course. View Comment

I give him a little credit for coming on and writing his situation out there for us to see. I don't agree with what happened, but there are teenage girls out there that will do what he says to get an "older" man.i do think the news elaborates on stories. But I absolutely would never want you near my child. Be careful you don't want to threaten people to take them to court cause your address is out there not ours, so be careful of threatening people don't take harm to a child very well now a days. I don't think your family should be taking any heat for what you did... Im not sure if I am following this right but dont we have to spend 6 million to get the 5 million??? and for what a big meeting room? The new schools dont they have meeting rooms? And value to my house i dont see that at all if anything it loses value, if i want to sell my house the new owners would be paying more taxes and would probably shy away from buying my house... Think about the future, is the economy going to get better??? At these tough times i dont think the library is right, give the 5 million to another town they can raise their taxes... I am born and raised in Grafton I had intentions of raising my son here as well, but with the taxes going up for a library we don't need is a little tough during these times. My son is 2 years old and he will have libraries in school. We had three libraries in town at one point and two closed down. Maybe that is because no one went to them? I never went to either library growing up because my schools had the books we needed or wanted and if they didn't I went to the Worcester library because the center library never had the books I needed. Other towns around us have renovated or built new libraries why not go to them. The library is not a money maker for us it is a burden on tax payers is what it is... why can't we pay our current dept off a little bit before we add to it. If this isis to makecam it handicap accessible then why not just build a ramp for the outside and once in the inside can't the librarian help find the books they needs? Isn't that what the librarians are paid for to help find the books? I understand why those who want the library but is really worth the dept we will be in for it. We have two new schools that have new libraries. That we are still paying for. To be honest im not sure we could evu en stay in town if our taxes raise which is unfortant because I wanted my son to go to school were my husband and I did.
