Fortunately Mike had the class to let all his customers know days in advance that he has to close his business. This will give the people who have gift certificates the opportunity to redeem them. The majority of businesses that close just lock the doors with no notice (see Picadilly Pub, Daddy's Junky Music, etc.). I think Mike should be applauded for letting us know. And we'll miss him! This whole thing smells like 'keeping up with the Joneses' on a very large scale. Until the economy improves, they should just make it ADA compliant and be done with it.
