Funeral Set For Central Mass Marine Killed In California Motorcycle Crash A funeral for a beloved US Marine from Worcester County who was killed last month in a motorcycle crash is scheduled for later this week.  Connor Kelly, 21, of Webster, died on May 30 while driving home from taking his fiancee to a dentist's appointment, his family said. The Worcester native would have turned 22 years old on July 1.  His family will hold calling hours on Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home at 357 Main St. in Oxford. Woman Killed By Train In Western Mass A woman was struck and killed by a train Wednesday morning, June 5, in Berkshire County, authorities said.  Lynn Stanley, 41, of North Adams was hit in the area of American Legion Drive in North Adams, the Berkshire County District Attorney said.  Multiple people have posted memorials to the mother on Facebook.  Investigators have not disclosed the circumstances around the crash.  Police are investigating the incident and more information will be made available when that is complete, authorities said.

West Springfield Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Stabbing A 50-year-old man has been identified as the victim in a West Springfield fatal stabbing over the Memorial Day weekend, authorities said.  Joseph Seymour, of West Springfield, was killed on Saturday, May 25, just after 10 p.m. when he was stabbed, the Hampden District Attorney's Office said.  Police were called to the 10-20 block of Amostown Road to a report of an unresponsive stabbing victim.  Paramedics rushed Seymour to Baystate Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries.  West Springfield police are investigating the slaying.

'Generous And Humble': Families Remember Men Who Drowned In Lynn Ponds Authorities have released the names of two men who drowned in separate incidents in Lynn over the Memorial Day weekend.  Michael Petkewich, 60, and Macario Ordoñez Calmo, 30, were both killed on Sunday, May 26.  Firefighters were called to the Breeds Pond just after 7:15 p.m. to rescue Calmo. They risked their lives to pull him from the water, but they couldn't save his life.
