$50K Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Convenience Store In Region
Are you feeling lucky? A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Hudson Valley convenience store. The third prize-winning ticket was sold in Orange County, at Newburgh’s Smokes 4 Less on North Plank Road, for the drawing held on Monday, Sept. 16, New York Lottery announced. Monday’s winning Powerball numbers are 8-9-11-27-31 and the Powerball is 17. Players can check their ticket on the New York Lottery website.

Two storefronts in Westchester County cities sold top-prize-winning lottery tickets on the same day, officials announced. The two winning Take 5 tickets, each worth $17,052.50, were sold at stores in Yonkers and New Rochelle for the drawing on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The stores that sold the tickets were revealed to be R. C. Variety at 154 North Ave. in New Rochelle and O'Dell Stationery at 1034 North Broadway (Route 9) in Yonkers. As for the names of the lucky winners, those were not made public.

Chang's in Rockland County at The Shops at Nanuet found the restaurant closed over the Labor Day weekend.
