A 28-year-old Salem County woman was killed in a crash on Route 647 on Sunday, April 5, authorities said.
At 3:57 p.m., troopers responded to County Route 647 south in Quinton after a Chevrolet passenger vehicle, driven by Sunshine Jones, crossed the centerline and collided with the side of a Toyota passenger vehicle, Christopher Postorino, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. After the initial impact, the Chevrolet and the Ford collided, Postorino said.

A former Hershey Cubs hockey player was killed in a violent overnight crash near his New York campus, leaving the hockey community on two continents in mourning.
Bradly Burden, 22, of Alaska, died around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, after the BMW he was driving crashed at Main Street and Cleveland Avenue in Niagara Falls, according to the Niagara Falls Police Department.
Burden was driving northbound “at a high rate of speed” when he lost control, and the vehicle spun into a steel pole at the intersection, police said.
