Police are on the lookout for a white Acura that was involved in a hit-and-run that left a skateboarder dead in Montgomery County overnight Monday, April 8. The man was riding a skateboard in the westbound side of Veirs Mill Rd., just prior to Monterrey Dr., when he was hit by a white Acura TL heading westbound shortly after 12 a.m., Montgomery County Police said. Hoarding conditions made things difficult for fire crews on Sunday afternoon who were called in to battle a blaze that broke out in a Harford County duplex, officials say. A 47-year-old man was shot and killed in Prince George’s County over the weekend, police said. Darryl Hazel, of Suitland, was found wounded from gunfire as officers responded to the shooting report near the 6300 block of Suitland Road in Camp Springs around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, April 7, PGPD said. Several people were displaced when a large tree fell and damaged three homes in Montgomery County on Thursday, April 4, responders said. Police are investigating a robbery involving four armed suspects at a parking garage in Montgomery County. It happened at a garage on the 11800 block of Grand Park Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Thursday, April 4, Montgomery County police told Daily Voice.
