Rockland’s own Angelina Jolie, an actress, filmmaker and humanitarian and daughter of actor and Westchester native Jon Voight, is splitting from husband Brad Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences, including substance abuse and anger issues, according to multiple media reports.
Jolie grew up in the exclusive Hudson River enclave of Sneden’s Landing, a hamlet of Orangetown.

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown, known for its bucolic Hudson River setting and proximity to New York City, has made it into Money magazine’s annual list of the best places to hang your hat.
Made up of more than a dozen hamlets and villages, the Rockland County community was ranked in the Top 10 spots, coming in at No. 7.
