Outdoor Mexican Eatery In Hudson Valley To Close — Here's When
A seasonal outdoor eatery near the Sullivan County line known for its burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, and other Mexican-inspired fare is preparing to serve its last meals.
Salsa Shack, located at 13817 Route 97 in Long Eddy, will permanently close after service on Sunday, Oct. 11, the business announced on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Until then, Salsa Shack will be open Fridays through Sundays from noon until sundown or until food sells out, weather permitting.

$4 Million Mega Millions Prize Claimed By Orange County LLC
A $4 million Mega Millions prize from a ticket sold in Orange County has officially been claimed.
Blue Pegasus Holdings Limited Liability Company (LLC) of New Windsor claimed the second prize from the June 9 drawing, the New York Lottery announced on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The winning ticket matched the first five numbers drawn: 09, 30, 36, 38, and 40, missing only the Mega Ball, which was 03.
Although the standard Mega Millions second prize is $1 million, the ticket came with a randomly generated 4X Multiplier, quadrupling the prize to $4 million, according to the Lottery.

JD Power released its 2026 North America Airport Satisfaction Study on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The study was based on 24,710 surveys from US and Canadian residents who traveled through at least one airport in either country.

NJ Farm's 8-Acre Dolly Parton Corn Maze Requires Visitors To Know Dolly Parton Trivia
The company that designs Tim Stockel's corn mazes had been trying to get Dolly Parton into cornfields for nearly three years.
The idea was simple: honor an American icon in the fall, when denim jackets, country music, and getting lost in a cornfield just seem to fit.
Finally, in February, Parton's team agreed to a one-year licensing arrangement allowing participating farms to use her image in corn mazes designed by The Maize Company.
"To me, she was everything," said Stockel, who runs the 130-acre Happy Day Farm in Manalapan alongside his wife, Olivia Stockel, a massive Dolly Parton fan.
