Domino's Cited For Underpaying Workers At Three Westchester Stores New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is suing the nation's largest pizza chain, Domino’s, alleging it underpaid workers at 10 stores in New York, including three in Westchester. The suit was filed Monday in the Manhattan New York Supreme Court. It alleges that following a multi-year investigation it was revealed Domino's and the franchisees shortchanged workers in various ways, partly due to an erroneous computer operating system that incorrectly calculates staff wages. Four Mamaroneck High School Golfers Rank At Top MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Four students from Mamaroneck High School are among the top 60 golfers to qualify for play in the Boys Varsity Golf Individual Sectionals. The students are Nolan Forsman, (9th grade), Harrison Eisberg (12th grade), Jake Silverman (9th grade) and Jake Antinelli (8th grade). Harrison will advance to Round 2 Wednesday, and the team will compete for conference championship Thursday.

The Bronxville School Foundation Awards $741K In Grants BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Seventh-graders in i2 Learning STEM Immersion program, while other students learn equations in Singapore Math Manipulatives.The programs are among many funded through Bronxville School Foundation grants. The 2016 grant awards give $741,000 in resources to benefit children in kindergarten through 12th grade at the school. Westport Lowers Mill Rate, Sets Tax Rate WESTPORT, Conn. — The Westport Board of Finance unanimously approved lowering the mill rate which means less taxes for property owners in town beginning July 1, according to the Westport News. The tax rate reduces the present 18.09 mills to 16.86, a 6.8 percent reduction, a result of less spending in the 2016-17 budget and increased property values in the previous year's revaluation in Westport, said the Westport News. Shelton Budget Approved With No Increase In Taxes SHELTON, Conn. -- Shelton residents can expect no increase in taxes after the Board of Aldermen approved a budget of $122,284,654 for 2016-17, according to the Shelton Herald. The approved budget represents a $162,138 spending increase, with tax and mill rate staying set at 22.31, the Shelton Herald reported. The board also approved a spending increase of $1.6 million to the Board of Education.
