Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Crash: 37-Year-Old Woman Strikes Concrete Parking Lot Wall In East Garden City Police are investigating after a woman was killed in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened around 12:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 in East Garden City. A 2016 Nissan Rogue operated by a 37-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Stewart Avenue when it struck a concrete parking lot wall near the intersection of Selfridge Avenue, according to Nassau County Police. Blaze Breaks Out At Several Valley Stream Stores An early morning fire spread to several stores on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27  in Valley Stream. The blaze broke out at Orange Skye Day Spa, located at 50 Rockaway Ave., according to Nassau County Police. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was engulfed in flames.  The fire spread to several connected commercial stores before finally being extinguished.  No injuries were reported at scene, according to police.
