Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

19-Year-Old, Girlfriend Both Found Dead Inside NY Home Police are investigating an incident in which a young boyfriend and girlfriend were found dead at their Long Island residence. Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to the home in Shirley at 11 Park Circle following a 911 call from the location at around 4:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. Upon arrival, officers found Destiny Leinfus, age 20, and Gavin Bifalco, age 19, dead from gunshot wounds inside the house, said police.  Detectives are investigating who fired the shots.  Detectives believe one or both died from self-inflicted injuries, police said. Huntington Man Charged With DWI After Long Island Expressway Crash In Brentwood A man has been charged with driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened around 6:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17 in Brentwood. The man was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit westbound on the expressway near Exit 53 when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck the center median and overturned, Suffolk County Police said.
