Western Mass Man Admits To Raping Child; Gets 6 To 7 Years In Prison: DA A 44-year-old Hampshire County man admitted to repeatedly sexually assaulting a child, authorities said, and now he knows how long he'll spend in prison. Everett Man Guilty Of Brutal Killing Of Victim As He Tried To Defend Girlfriend: DA A Suffolk County jury convicted a 39-year-old Everett man on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the vicious beating and stabbing death of a Boston man who was trying to protect his girlfriend, authorities said.
