Second Man Killed In Lynn Over Labor Day Weekend Another man has died after being shot in Lynn late Saturday night, Sept. 2, authorities said. It happened just after 11 p.m. on Lincoln Street, where people called 911 when a man was shot inside a car, police said. $1M Lottery Win: Man Pledges To Use Powerball Pay Day To Help Mass Families A Hyde Park man who got the first five numbers correct of the Powerball drawing last month said he would use his winnings to do good in his community. Winston Lloyd won $1 million in the Aug. 16 Powerball drawing and collected his check from the Massachusetts State Lottery the following week. Church Elder Gets 15 Years For Sexually Assaulting Teen In Springfield: DA Hampden County authorities said a level-3 registered sex offender who served as a church elder in the Springfield Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses was sentenced to 15 years behind bars for sexually abusing a then 13-year-old child.
