Man Threatens Woman With Knife Inside Her Western Mass Home: Police A 21-year-old man is accused of breaking into a woman's home on Sunday evening, July 23, and threatening to stab her, police said.  Jada Lopez, of Pittsfield, is charged with home invasion though more charges may be forthcoming, Pittsfield police said.  Police received a 911 call just before 7 p.m. about a woman being held hostage at gunpoint. Plane Crashes On Martha's Vineyard; Pilot Walks Away A single-engine plane crashed Sunday morning in Martha's Vineyard, but luckily no one was injured, rescue personnel said.  The Arnold Volksplane VP-1 came down just before 11 a.m. after the pilot lost altitude on his landing descent coming into Martha's Vineyard Airport, the West Tisbury Police Department said. Daniel Romero, 21, of Springfield, was found shot at Marengo Park at 10:45 p.m. on Monday, July 17, Springfield police said.
