Metal Arrow Pierces Through Cat's Head In Lancaster County Town, Police Say Police are investigating after a cat was found with a metal arrow pierced through its head last week in Lancaster County, they said. Pequea Township police were called to a home on the 100 block of West Willow Road where a resident had found the cat on Thursday, July 25, local police said. ORCA was contacted and took the animal for treatment. The arrow was removed from the cat, who remains under the care of ORCA as it recovers.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pequea Township Police Department via dispatch at 717-664-1180. Nearly 950 Hackensack Residents Without Power After Thunderstorms A storm system that swept through the region Saturday afternoon, Aug. 3 left hundreds of North Jersey residents without power. As of 5:40 p.m., about 950 PSE&G customers in Hackensack did not have power, its website shows. In Closter, 145 Orange & Rockland customers were in the dark. In West Milford, more than 500 residents did not have power. Most of those customers were JCP&L. The storms, which brought temps down to the high-70s, had subsided as of press time.

Kaleema Dicks confronted the victim outside of her home around 3:35 p.m., pushed her way inside and began punching her in the face, Englewood Police Detective Lt. Fred Pulice said. Dicks then stabbed the victim in her back with a knife, the lieutenant said.  The victim suffered a broken orbital bone and a 4-inch laceration to her back. The Penn State alum who hails from Worcester, Massachusetts, nailed another pommel horse routine at Paris 2024, winning his second bronze medal. Nedoroscik, 25, shot to fame as the USA men's gymnastic team's official "pommel horse specialist," earning the team its first medal in 16 years. On Saturday, Aug. 3, Nedoroscik racked up 15.300 points on the pommel horse behind two-time world champ Rhys McClenaghan, of Ireland, who won the gold.
