Police Officer Shoots Dog In North Philadelphia: Officials A Philadelphia police officer shot a pit bull while it attacked a pomeranian in the city's West Oak Lane neighborhood last Wednesday, April 17, according to authorities.  Police said the officer was called to the 2011 block of Eastburn Avenue around 8 a.m., where she "observed a large Pitbull dog attacking a Pomeranian on the sidewalk." Missing Philadelphia Man May Be In Chester, Authorities Say Police are looking for a missing 75-year-old man.  Robert Zack was last seen on Saturday, April 14 was last seen at his home on the 2400 block of W. Animal Cruelty Investigation Launched In Northampton County Police are investigating after a dog was found dead in a cage in Forks Township over the weekend. Officers were called to Frutchey Hill Road and Richmond Road Saturday morning, April 20 for an "animal complaint," Township police said in a release.  A small, brown Yorkie with a green colored bandana was found dead in a cage under a white bedsheet, authorities said. Northeastern PA Woman Missing, Police Say (Updated) Update: The subject of this report has been located safely, SARPD said Wednesday, April 24.  Stroud Area Regional Police are looking for a missing woman.  Lisa Ann DiGiovanni, 49, was last seen in Stroud Township around 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, authorities said.  She is 5 feet and 115 pounds and was last seen wearing a black jacket with white fur trim, blue jeans, and hoop earrings, according to police. She drives a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra sedan with Pennsylvania tag number MGZ-2595.  Anyone with information is being asked to submit a tip online.

Woman Shot In North Philadelphia Home: Police A 49-year-old woman was shot once in the stomach in the living room of a Philadelphia residence Monday night, April 22, according to police.  Investigators said it happened on the 100 block of Linton Street in Olney around 7:40 p.m. The victim was taken to Einstein Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.  One person was detained in connection with the shooting and a weapon was recovered, PPD added.
