This Fairfield County Locale Ranks Among Best Places To Raise A Family, Report Says A Fairfield County city is one of the best places to raise a family in the United States, according to a new report. Bridgeport ranked second in a list of the 15 "Best Places to Raise a Family," which was created by Rocket Homes and BestPlaces.net and published on Saturday, Feb. 5. New Data Shows Decline In Crime In Westchester New data released by Westchester County shows a significant reduction in crime when comparing recent years. It happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, on I-91 in New Haven County. Man Under Influence Drove Wrong Way On CT Roadway, State Police Say A man is facing charges after police said he drove the wrong way on a Connecticut highway while under the influence. Police Search For Duo Accused Of Stealing Merchandise From Suffolk County Target Police have asked the public for help locating two people accused of stealing merchandise from a Long Island store. On Saturday, Feb. 5, a man and woman stole assorted items valued at about $555 from Target, located at 124 East Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, according to a report from the Suffolk County Police Department on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Man Accused Of Robbing Target In Suffolk County A 48-year-old man was arrested and accused of robbing a Target on Long Island. John Hicks stole merchandise from the Medford store at about 2:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. SCPD said the store is located at 2975 Horseblock Road. When employees tried to stop Hicks, he pulled out what appeared to be a handgun and fled the scene, police said.
