The class will focus on the benefits of essential oils. Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy that treats the mind, body, and spirit. Edith M. Standish, 92, Resident of Fair Lawn FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Fair Lawn resident Edith M. Standish (Bolognese) died Friday, Jan. 8. She was 92.She was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn,  a member of the Fair Lawn Ladies Auxiliary Post 171, and also a member of the Red Hats.  She is survived by her children and several grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Standish, one sister and three brothers.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Norman Bleshman Regional Day School, PTA School Spirit Committee, 333 East Ridgewood Ave. Paramus, NJ 07652.

Amerie was born to Korean mother, artist Mi Suk, and African-American father, Charles, a chief warrant officer. The singer enrolled in Georgetown University to study literature, and was in the Navy ROTC. Currently, Amerie has recorded four albums, with two more in the works. Greenwich Teaches Tennis For Tots GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that Tennis for Tots will begin indoors at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Mondays starting Jan. 25 for six weeks.The program for children ages 3 and 4 will run from 2:45-3:15 p.m. or 3:15-3:45 p.m. The 5-, 6- and 7-year-old program will be from 3:45-4:30 p.m. or 4:30-5:15 p.m. The cost is $90 for the 3- and 4-year-old programs and $103.00 for the 5- to 7-year-old programs. Paramus Students Help Build Holocaust Database On Ancestry.com PARAMUS, N.J. — Students from the Frisch School in Paramus recently worked with the World Memory project to update the Holocaust database on Ancestry.com. Selected students helped catalogue information available for family members and researchers on the Ancestry.com Holocaust database. Students worked in the school’s Smedra Family 21st Century Lab, entering data and deciphering records from the summer of 1940 Cracow Ghetto. Since the original data wasn't typed, students had to read names, addresses, hometowns and professions in the cursive writing used in Europe in the 1930s. Frisch bec…
