(Update) Worcester County Man, 76, Killed In Orange Crash ID'd Update: Police have identified the man killed in the Thursday, Dec. 7, crash as Charles Beach, of Princeton. Original: A 76-year-old Worcester County man died Thursday morning, Dec. 7, when his car crashed into a tree in Franklin County. The Princeton man's car left the road around 10:30 a.m. in Orange near the intersection of Tully and Fryeville Roads, the Northwestern District Attorney said. No other vehicles were involved. 'Life Of Every Party' ID'd As Fatal Shooting Victim In Springfield A 44-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a Monday, Dec. 4, shooting in Springfield, authorities announced Friday. Billy Spivey Jr., of Springfield, was found shot in the 100 block of Albemarle Street just after 6 p.m. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, but doctors were not able to save his life, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office said. Venkataramanan Balakrishnan, of Shrewsbury, won $25,000 a year for life after he matched the first five numbers on his Season Ticket. They're the same five numbers he's been playing for years. 'Taken Too Soon': Greenville Native, Northeastern Student Dies Of Meningitis The family of a 21-year-old Greenville native said their 21-year-old son had a bright future ahead of him that was snuffed out when he died unexpectedly of bacterial meningitis.
