Man Shot To Death Inside Springfield Apartment: Police Springfield police said they found the body of a man inside an apartment early Monday morning, Nov. 27, killed from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers were called to the apartments in the 0-100 block of Fort Pleasant Avenue, where they found the body just after 4:30 a.m., said Ryan Walsh, spokesperson for the Springfield Police Department. Stabbing Outside Ramen Bar In Western Mass Under Investigation Police in Berkshire County are asking for tips after a man was stabbed leaving a ramen bar in Pittsfield earlier this week, authorities announced. Man Admits To Raping Child For Decade In Pittsfield, Gets Up To 10 Years In Prison: DA A 42-year-old Berkshire County man who this week admitted to raping a child multiple times for nearly a decade was sentenced to up to 10 years behind bars, authorities said.
