Woman, 22, Killed In Multi-Car Crash On Mass Turnpike In Central Mass ID'd: Police A 22-year-old woman died after she was involved in a car crash in Worcester County that sprawled into a multi-car wreck on I-90, authorities said. Claudia Lukas, of Longmeadow, was killed on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Grafton after her Subaru and a Kia Sorento collided on I-90 and hit a center guardrail, State Police said. The cars came to a stop in the center of the highway and were hit by an oncoming vehicle. The crashes caused a secondary wreck between two tractor-trailers and a box truck, authorities said. Man Killed In Springfield Shooting That Injured 3 Others ID'd: DA Police identified the fatal shooting victim from Wednesday as a 42-year-old Springfield man. Three other people were injured in the attack. Emanuel Cruz and another man were found inside a freighliner, and a third was found on the sidewalk near the 100 block of Morgan St. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, the Hampden County District Attorney's Office said. Woman Ran Over While Asking For Help In Western Mass Hit-Run Crash: Police A woman police believe was trying to flag down passing motorists to get help was hit by a car that kept driving afterward. The crash happened Thursday, Nov. 16, just before 9 p.m. near Elm Street and Hanward Hill. Officers received a report of a woman in the road that had been hit by a vehicle, East Longmeadow police said. Teen Who Injured 84-Year-Old At MBTA Station In Boston Held For 60 Days: DA A 15-year-old girl who police say injured an 84-year-old man in an attack at an MBTA Station on Tuesday, Nov. 14, has been ordered held for 60 days, authorities said. The girl, whose name was not released because of her age, was out on $500 bail for a charge of unarmed robbery, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Cannabis Dust Contributed To Woman's Death In Holyoke Facility: Mass Health Dept. A new report from the Massachusetts Department of Health said a woman who died at a Hampden County cannabis facility is the state's first workplace asthma-related death. Lorna McMurrey, 27, of West Springfield, was filling pre-rolled joints at the Trulieve facility in Holyoke on Jan. 4, 2022, when she told her coworkers that she couldn't breathe and fell unconscious, the report said. Serial Sex Trafficker Busted Again Forcing Women Into Prostitution In Stoughton: DA A Stoughton man who's been convicted of sex trafficking was busted again after police say he exploited women and used violence to keep them in the sex trade. Marvin Pompilus, 39, was charged with one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion after police arrested him on Tuesday, Nov. 14, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.
