Decomposing Dog Leads To Cruelty Charges In Chelsea: Police An odd smell led Chelsea police to an apartment where they found the remains of a dog that had been left to decay, authorities said. Massi Ennis, 24, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty and was given a $500 bail, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. Police were called to an apartment on Washington Avenue on Oct. 27 after one of the tenants reported a horrible smell coming from a nearby apartment. Officers found a deceased dog in the living room. NY Man, 26, Hit By Car In Western Mass Dies After Days In Hospital: Police A 26-year-old New York man who was hit while crossing a street in Berkshire County on Friday, Nov. 3, has died, police said. Noor Khan Zadran, of Albany, was crossing Central Berkshire Boulevard in Pittsfield around 3:30 p.m. when he was struck by a Hyundai Sonata driven by Judith Daly, age 85, police announced Tuesday morning. Motorcyclist Killed In Springfield Crash: Police Springfield police said a man died in a car versus motorcycle accident on Monday, Nov. 6. Officers were called to the intersection of Verge and Parker Streets, where they found the man lying out on the pavement around 4 p.m. He died at the scene, police said. The car driver remained at the scene. Springfield police did not release the names of the deceased or the car driver. Officers are investigating the fatal crash.

Teen Shot After Jumping Into Stranger's Car At Springfield Gas Station: Cops A 16-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after someone shot him when he got into their car at a gas station over the weekend, authorities said. $1.2M Lottery Jackpot: Topsfield Winner Gets $10K Every Month For 10 Years A lottery winner in Topsfield has chosen to remain nameless after picking up a $1.2 million lottery jackpot, authorities said.
