GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Brooklyn, N.Y., man accused of driving drunk the wrong way on Greenwich Avenue with two children in the car is facing a host of criminal charges after his arrest Sunday night, according to greenwichtime.com.
Karega Atkinson-Jones, 35, is accused of crashing a BMW sport utility vehicle into the rear of a car parked on Greenwich Avenue about 8 p.m. Sunday, according to the report. Two children, ages 5 and 8, inside the car were not hurt, the story said.

PALISADES, N.Y. – A pair of New York City teens are facing felony drug charges after police investigating a car crash found them in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.
The teens, both from the Elmhurst section of Queens, were involved in a single-car crash about 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to Orangetown police.

Dog Trained By Brewster-Based Nonprofit Looking For New Home
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Sprout, a 7-month-old Heeler mix, is available for adoption through the Green Chimneys' Dog Interaction Program, according to the Brewster-based nonprofit organization.
Sprout, a female, is "smart, friendly, house-trained and well-behaved," according to the nonprofit. She is a graduate of Green Chimneys' program, which allows students to train and socialize shelter dogs to prepare them for adoption.
