Police Pursue Gunman Who Shot, Killed 20-Year-Old In Mount Vernon MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Mount Vernon Authorities are still searching for the gunmen wanted for fatally shooting a 20-year-old on Sunday, according to News 12 Westchester. Police said Jovelle Stewart was sitting in his vehicle on North High Street when a car pulled up and opened fire.
