Bogota Revamps Recreation Department BOGOTA, N.J. -- The Bogota Borough Council approved an ordinance to replace the Recreation Council with a new committee at a recent meeting, according to NorthJersey.com. The new committee will consist of five members, down from the old council's seven, and will hire personnel for recreation events, NorthJersey.com reported.  All funds raised by the committee must still be deposited with the municipal treasurer, NorthJersey.com said.  Click here to read the NorthJersey.com article.

Glen Rock Library Book Fair Seeks Volunteers GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- The Glen Rock Library Book Sale is again looking for Volunteers for Saturday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, Feb. 28 to help organize and sort books. Volunteers are needed on Saturday from 9:30 a.m.  to 1:30 p.m.  Help is needed on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Volunteers are not required to work entire shifts.
