Ridgewood Charity Fundraiser Benefits Families In Need RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Family Promise will hold a hike or bike through Ridgewood on May 1 to help families in need. The hike will be three miles and the bike portion will be 15 miles. Fort Lee Planning Board Considers Luxury Hotel FORT LEE, N.J. -- The Fort Lee planning board is considering a proposal to build a 17-story luxury hotel just north of the George Washington Bridge, according to NorthJersey.com. The mixed use property would be located where an existing 13-story structure on N. Central Road already sits. Njdep Recognizes Ramsey's Tisdale School, Grants $10K RAMSEY, N.J. --  Tisdale Elementary School in Ramsey was identified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a High Performing Rewards School for the 2014-2015 school year.  Only 57 schools in the state have earned this distinction.  To be designated such an honor schools had to maintain a minimum proficiency rate of approximately 90 percent for all students and have that proficiency rate in the top 10 percent across the state.
