Services Set For Avenel Driver Killed In Carteret Crash Cristina Flores, a 34-year-old Avenel woman is being remembered for her vibrant spirit after she was killed in a car crash in Carteret on Saturday, Jan. 11. Flores was driving a Nissan Infiniti when it collided with a Toyota Camry at 9:55 p.m., at West Carteret Bridge on Roosevelt Avenue, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Former Woodstown Camp Director Performed Sexual Acts On Boy At Park: Njsp Tara Carr, a 46-year-old Woodlawn woman, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 9, and charged with sexually assaulting a teenage boy over the course of three months, authorities said. Carr, the former director of Camp Sam at the Rastelli Kids Complex — which she owned — in Sewell, performed sexual acts on the boy in her black Chevrolet SUV four times between March and May 2024 at Marlton Park in Pilesgrove, according to a complaint warrant from New Jersey State Police. Man Gets Lengthy Sentence For Sexually Assaulting Two Kids: Cumberland County Prosecutor A 56-year-old Vineland man was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison after being previously being convicted of sexually assaulting two kids, authorities said. Christopher Bonner was convicted in August of sexually assaulting two children who were under the age of 13 between 1993 and 2002, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said. The two children were related to Bonner, authorities said. Bonner was sentenced to 17 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault and eight years in prison on an additional conviction for sexual assault, authorities said.
