CT Resident Admits To Defrauding Employer, Lender Of Over $700K A 50-year-old Connecticut resident has admitted to defrauding her employer and the company's lender of more than $700,000. Margaret Boisture, of Windsor, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, July 19, to one count of wire fraud affecting a financial institution, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. 21-Year-Old Found Fatally Shot In Uniondale Park, Police Say Updated story: ID Released For 21-Year-Old Found Fatally Shot In Uniondale Park A homicide investigation is underway after a 21-year-old man was found fatally shot in a park on Long Island. Officers in Uniondale responded to a report of a victim with a gunshot wound at Uniondale Avenue Park at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, the Nassau County Police Department reported. NCPD said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives asked anyone with information about the incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

Woman Accused Of Driving Impaired With 4-Year-Old Passenger, Crashing Into Vehicle In Commack A 33-year-old woman was charged after police said she drove with a 4-year-old passenger while impaired and rear-ended another vehicle on Long Island. The crash happened in Commack at about 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, on Harned Road near Cutchogue Lane, the Suffolk County Police Department reported. Man Charged In Burglary At Riverhead Bagel Shop A 42-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a bagel shop on Long Island. Police received a report about a commercial burglary alarm at Bagel Lovers, located at 673 Osborne Ave. in Riverhead, at about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, the Riverhead Town Police Department said.
