Popular CT Restaurant Temporarily Closes After Fire, Owners Say A popular barbecue restaurant in Connecticut has temporarily closed due to fire damage. The owners of Uncle D's Blazin' BBQ in New London County announced the closure in a Facebook post on Thursday, Feb. 10. The eatery is located at 146 West Town St. in Norwich. According to a report from the Norwich Bulletin, authorities said the fire broke out on Wednesday, Feb. 9, and caused serious damage to some of the restaurant's kitchen equipment.
