Sean Crombie, of Copiague, was arrested following a fatal overdose investigation that occurred on Saturday, Dec. 25, in East Meadow, according to the Nassau County Police Department. 26-Year-Old Killed In Nassau County Crash An investigation is underway after a 26-year-old died in a crash on Long Island. The single-vehicle crash happened in East Meadow at 2:20 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, according to the Nassau County Police Department. NCPD said the man was riding his 2012 Harley Davidson west on North Jerusalem Road when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a pole near the intersection of North Jerusalem Road and Shakespeare Place. Police Announce Results Of Targeted Speed Enforcement Detail In Northern Westchester State Police announced the results of a targeted speed enforcement detail that was implemented in Northern Westchester County. New York State Police conducted the enforcement detail on Monday, Dec. 20, on State Route 9 in the town of Cortlandt and the village of Croton-on-Hudson. Police said 26 tickets were issued during the enforcement period, including 22 for speed-related offenses. State Police said speeding is a contributing factor in nearly one-third of the state's fatal crashes.
