Steer Clear: New Sighting Of Bull On Loose Confirmed On Long Island The search continues for a 1,500-pound bull that escaped from a Long Island farm, and a new sighting has been confirmed. The bull was seen in a wooded area on the night of Tuesday, July 20, Suffolk County Police said late Wednesday morning, July 21. SCPD is continuing to patrol the area for the bull. The first sighting of the bull was around 8:20 that morning in Mastic. The bull has also been spotted in Shirley. Man Charged For Allegedly Driving In Westchester County With BAC Twice Legal Limit Police said a Connecticut man has been charged for driving in Westchester County with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. On Friday, July 16, at about 11:15 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in Elmsford for a vehicle and traffic violation, New York State Police said. Police said the driver, Wilfredo Perez, of Stamford, was taken into custody. Authorities said Perez's blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, which is a misdemeanor charge.

Covid-19: Unvaccinated New England Politician Dies From Complications Of Virus, Report Says Linda Zuern, a controversial former elected official in New England, has died from COVID-19 complications at the age of 70. 32-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Jeep On Long Island Police are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Long Island. It happened in Coram at about 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 20. Suffolk County Police said a Jeep was northbound on Route 112, and the driver was turning left into 1650 Route 112, when her vehicle was struck by a southbound motorcycle. Canada Sets Date To Start Allowing American Travelers Americans who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will soon be able to travel to Canada again. Beginning Monday, Aug. 9, Canada will begin allowing Americans to enter the country if they have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to travel, the Canadian government announced on Monday, July 19. Ford Recalls More Than 850K Vehicles After Injuries Reported Ford Motor Company has announced three safety recalls that involve more than 850,000 vehicles. The largest of the three recalls is involves more than 774,600 2013-2017 Ford Explorer vehicles, Ford said on Friday, July 16.
