Expect Delays: Closures Planned For Stretch Of Road In Cortlandt State officials have advised Westchester County motorists to be prepared for delays ahead of a planned road closure. The New York State Department of Transportation said motorists should expect Route 6/202 (Bear Mountain Bridge Road) to close in both directions between State Route 9D and US Route 9 in Cortlandt from Tuesday, Aug. 30 through Thursday, Sept. 1. The closures are set to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to facilitate maintenance activities, officials said.  Officials said motorists should follow a posted detour using US Route 9, State Route 403, and State Route 9D.

The winning numbers drawn were: 03 07 21 31 37 Powerball 11, NY Lottery said. He received his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $610,410 after required withholdings, the lottery said. Rye Playland To Offer Guests Hot Dogs During Pet Food Drive This Week Playland Park will host a pet food drive to celebrate National Dog Lovers Day.The Westchester County amusement park, located at 1 Playland Parkway in Rye, will hold the pet food drive in partnership with the Humane Society of Westchester on Friday, Aug. 26. The drive will begin at noon and end at 11 p.m. Guests who donate an unopened bag or can of dog food with the purchase of admission will receive a voucher for a free hot dog, the organizers said. Organizers are also accepting donations of unused dog toys and treatments.
