Yorktown Resident Charged With Numerous Driving Violations YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have charged a 25-year-old resident of Yorktown with driving with an invalid license. An officer on routine patrol observed a 2013 gray Honda traveling east on Old Country Way displaying an expired inspection certificate on Sunday at approximately 8 p.m., police report. Orangetown Police Charge Spring Valley Man With Vehicular Assault TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police have charged a man from Spring Valley with vehicular assault following an automobile accident that resulted in physical injuries to both the driver and his passenger, police said. 19-Year-Old Driving 80 MPH In 45 Zone Faces Charges, Ramapo Police Say RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police have arrested a 19-year-old Hillburn man and charged him with reckless driving. An officer conducting traffic enforcement on Route 17 observed a vehicle traveling more than 80 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone on Monday, Feb. 22, at 11:50 a.m., police report. Police Dish Out 100-Plus Tickets In Westchester Speed Enforcement Detail WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Police doled out more than 100 tickets during a speed enforcement detail Monday. The detail took place on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Westchester County over a six-hour period, according to officials.
