SoNo Library In Norwalk Hosting Tea Party For Kids
NORWALK, Conn. -- In honor of National Hot Tea Month, children age 3 to 5 are invited to bring a teddy bear or favorite stuffed animal for a tea party at the SoNo Branch Library on Friday, Jan. 22, from 10-11:30 a.m. Lemonade, treats and an interactive story time with folk tales and fables by Erin Zeidenberg of Just Imagine will be included. Franklin Lakes Temple Holding Presidents' Day Service
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Temple Emanual of North Jersey in Franklin Lakes will hold its third annual Presidents’ Day service on Monday, Feb. 15. The 8 a.m. service will feature The Gettysburg Address translated into Hebrew and chanted as a Haftarah by Rabbi Joseph Prouser. The temple is located at 558 High Mountain Road.

Garfield Continues Series Of Financial Workshops
GARFIELD, N.J. -- The city will continue the financial workshop series it began in January in conjunction with Greater Bergen Community Action. Upcoming workshops will be held on Monday, Feb. 8, and Monday, Feb. 22, at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation Health Center, 535 Midland Ave. Two sessions will be held each day: the first will take place at 9:30 a.m., and the second at 6 p.m. Topics covered at the events will include banking, checking and savings accounts and credit.
