Mark P. Gobo, 56, Of Cliffside Park
CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Mark P. Gobo, a lifelong resident of Cliffside Park, died Thursday, Jan.21. He was 56.
After graduating from Cliffside Park High School, Gobo became a tug boat captain in his early 20s, working for Moran Marine Towing.
He is survived by his brother Altair Gobo and his wife Maria, Kathleen Gobo Meluso and her husband Paul and Kim Gobo and her husband Dorijano. He also was an uncle to Alex and Michael Gobo.
He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Doris Gobo.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Rebecca DiBianco, a lifelong resident of Bergenfield, died Thursday, Jan.21. She was 54.She worked as a medical assistant for various doctors in Bergen County.
She is survived by her mother, Betty; her sister, Victoria (Tyrell); and brother-in-law, William.
She was predeceased by her father, Anthony.

OAKLAND, N.J. -- Dorothy Churco, a resident of Oakland, died Thursday, Jan. 21. She was 89.Prior to her retirement, she was a manager with Ridgewood Answering Service for more than 32 years. She was a former member of the Wyckoff Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Roanoke Wildwood Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Women’s Club of Lake Gaston, Va., having served as president, a member of the Needlework Club in North Carolina and had been involved for many years with both the Girls Scouts and Boys Scouts in the Wyckoff area.

TAPPAN, N.Y. – Dr. Thane Asch, a resident of Tappan, died Monday, Jan.18. He was 88.
He was born Aug. 3, 1927, in Manhattan to Marjorie Asch and Dr. Joseph Jefferson Asch.
He was raised in New York City and Westhampton, N.Y. and graduated from Manhattan’s Friends Seminary in 1945.
He served as a radar instructor for the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1945 – 1946, then received a bachelor's degree at Columbia University in 1951 and a medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in 1955.

FISHKILL, N.Y. – Thomas C. Chefalo, a resident of Fishkill, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. He was 84.
He was born in Peekskill on Nov. 8, 1931, to Charles and Carmela (Arpaio) Chefalo.
He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve as a radioman. He was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. He worked for IBM in Tarrytown for 32 years, and retired as a systems analyst in 1986.

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. – Edward J. Siepiola, a longtime resident of Saddle Brook, died Tuesday, Jan. 19. He was 92.
